Well one of my really good friends, her name is Michaela, is amazing at crafts. She is amazing and incredible at doing hair, and desiging t-shirts and things like that. Unfortuantly I didn't get her t-shirt making process on camera for you all to see, but I thought I would write about the amazing T- shirts that she made for us to wear to the concert. I am giving her 100% full credit here because she did such an amazing job, and all by herself too!
So as you can see on the right side, it says Sadiebrooke, and then 1D in ombre glitter ( because we went to the one direction concert). All of the items used to make this shirt were purchased at Joanne's fabric although I am sure you could get any of the products at places like Walmart and Target. But to stay cheap, Joannes Fabric was a good place to go! ( we had a coupon).
Materials Used:
Black T- Shirt - Wet seal - $6.50
Fabric Glue - Joannes - $4.00
Glitter - Joannes - $3.50
So making the shirts, what happened was she made a outline on paper of what the front and the back would look like. Then she took a piece of cardboard and stuck it inside the shirt so that it wouldn't crinkle and would have a hard service to draw on. Then she took the fabric glue and outlined the letters and then just sprinkled glitter of the top of it, and let it dry over night.
Shes so artsy and did an amazing job creating the "ombre look". I hope you enjoy and try this at home!
